English Language Entry Requirements
The language of instruction at Deakin College is English.
International students must be able to demonstrate English language proficiency before being admitted to a course. The following table can be used as a general guide to English admission requirements.
Entry to the Masters Qualifying Program (Business and Law) requires an IELTS of 6 with no individual band score below 6.
* Excluding the Foundation Program when packaged with a Bachelor of Nursing.

If you do not meet the English language requirements you may choose to enrol in an intensive English language course at Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI) to improve your English language proficiency.

If you need to improve your English language proficiency, you may enrol in the Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI). DUELI offers a wide range of English language courses, from beginners to advanced levels.
DUELI is located on Deakin University’s Melbourne Burwood campus and Geelong Waterfront campus and offers a wide range of programs for students.
