Deakin Medical Centres

As a Deakin College student, you have access to the Deakin University medical centres on all our campuses. These centres provide private and confidential medical services in a caring environment, and are staffed by highly trained and experienced doctors and nurses.

Some of the services provided by our medical centres are:

• managing and treating general illness
• mental health treatment, referral and management
•  physiotherapy
• preventative health checks
• vaccinations, including seasonal and travel
• health coaching
• women’s health (including unplanned pregnancy counselling and referral)
• blood, urine and other pathology tests
• specialist referrals

Extra fees will apply for procedures, vaccinations and equipment hire, such as crutches.

We understand that privacy is essential. You can rest easy knowing that your medical information will always stay completely confidential. Deakin College and the Deakin University Health Centres manage personal and health information in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and Victorian Health Records Act 2001.
