Multifaith Chaplaincy

Whether you worship on a regular basis or just like somewhere to quietly go and reflect, Deakin University’s multifaith chaplaincy provides compassionate and caring support to Deakin College students, whatever your faith.

College life is constantly changing and can be quite demanding, and our chaplains understand many of the challenges our students face. The chaplaincy can offer a support base when you are dealing with life’s issues such as homesickness, stress or sadness. All discussions you have with them are completely confidential.

Our chaplains are also available to talk to in confidence about any issues you are facing or questions you may have about your spirituality, religion and faith.

On-campus spiritual centres offer Muslim prayer rooms and multifaith rooms for places of worship for all students and staff, regardless of religious belief. These spaces offer a quiet and peaceful environment and you are welcome to take time for personal reflection or practise your faith.

Open 7am – 11pm, 7 days a week

Geelong Waterfront Campus
Room D1 203.03
Open 7am – 8pm, Monday to Friday

Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus

Open 7am – 11pm, 7 days a week
