Campus Facilities

Deakin College is located on three of Deakin University's campuses: Melbourne Burwood Campus, Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus and Geelong Waterfront Campus.

Being on campus means you have full access to all campus facilities making your transition to university life a lot easier. Listed below are some of the facilities available to you.

Please note: As the Jakarta Campus is not located on a Deakin University Campus, not all the same facilities will be available.

Computer Labs

Deakin College students have access to computer labs with all the necessary software required for their study. On the Australian Campuses, some of these labs are accessible 24 hours a day.


The Library at each campus of Deakin University provides information, resources and services to support your study.

Eating Places

A variety of food choices and venues are available on campus.

Deakin College students can purchase their text books, reference books, course materials, stationery and gifts at Deakin University Student Association (DUSA) Bookshop. The DUSA Bookshop also offers the convenience of an online bookstore and a phone order centre. Books can be sent to customers anywhere in Australia or overseas.


On-campus child care is available at Melbourne Burwood Campus and Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus. Qualified, experienced and caring staff provide high quality care for children under school age.

Prayer rooms

Multifaith rooms are available on campus for various faith groups to meet and for individual reflection.

Sport and Recreation

A range of special interest and recreation clubs are active on campus, facilitated by the Deakin University Student Association (DUSA). Sport clubs include athletics, coaching, football, golf, basketball, badminton, soccer, pool and tae kwon do.


Students wishing to park a vehicle on campus must pay the required fee and display a valid parking permit on their vehicle as required by the rules and regulations of Deakin University.

Medical Centre

Deakin Medical Centre is a youth-friendly medical service for students and staff. The doctors and nurses are experienced and skilled health care professionals who aim to provide cost effective and confidential (private) health care.
