Deakin College COVIDsafe Plan
As Deakin College works towards Trimester 3 2021, we will continue and expand upon our flexible learning options, depending on your location, study preferences and government restrictions.
We will continue to offer 100% online learning to all our students who cannot or prefer not to study on campus. Classes, exams, course material and teachers are almost identical for all students, regardless of whether you’re studying online or on campus, so you don’t need to worry about missing out.
While some units may require you to attend a live online/on-campus class, some classes will also allow you to catch up on recorded lectures and class materials online in your own time. This flexibility means no matter where you are in the world or what your weekday work commitments might be, you can plan your studies to suit you.
For those who prefer the face-to-face classroom experience, we are offering on-campus learning for as many units as possible, in line with Deakin University’s COVIDSafe campus measures and so long as Victorian Government restrictions will allow it at the time. You may be asked to complete a CovidSafe training module and check-in each time you visit campus to help us keep all our students and staff safe and healthy.
With this flexible approach, you can look forward to experiencing Deakin College life, meeting new classmates and starting your journey to university – both online and at our physical campuses.
